This well-known Belgian illustrator (b. 1970) won the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award. So she hardly needs an introduction, does she?

Mattias de Leeuw

Another Belgian Illustrator (1989) who shows a great deal of promise. An airy style with lot of action but at the same time with a sense of tranquility.

And since it is the time of year that we celebrate "Sinterklaas" (6 December) I include this one too.

Anton van Hertbruggen

Another very young, wonderful, Belgian illustrator is Anton van Hertbruggen (b. 1990). He loves drawing and uses a variety of techniques.
